Yunnan Flower Association is an organization of economical cooperation, which consists of the voluntary enterprises and the growers of Yunnan who engaged in the production, processing, marketing, research, and transportation of flowers as well as relevant facilities manufacturers in Yunnan. Authorized by the government of Yunnan province, YFA takes responsibilities of offering governmental support and guide to the development of Yunnan flower industry. The purpose of YFA establishment is to speed up the development of Yunnan flower industry, promote cooperation between enterprises and local growers to achieve optimized production results, and make flower industry in Yunnan grow wealthy so as to improve competition capability in both domestic and overseas market.
　 Since the establishment in 1997, Yunnan Flower Association is engaged in offering services for all the enterprises and the growers, and promoting the development of Yunnan flower industry. With the support of both governmental departments and flowers growers, YFA has achieved great progress by its faithful and hard job, and has become a very important organization in the development of flower industry in Yunnan.The main functions of YFA been authorized by government are: To study and make medium and long term planning properly based on the Economical Development Planning of Yunnan Province; To put forward suggestions to industrial policies and intending investment based on National Economic & Industrial Policies; To make study and survey of the flower market; To coordinate and administrate the key flower projects in Yunnan’s on behalf of the government; To promote international communication and cooperation; To formulate standards to various flower products cooperated with relative departments and enhance the necessary supervision; To provide services such as, information, technical training etc. to growers and traders.’
